Facebook for Android has announced the beta release of a new update that includes a bottom tab system. The update will make the Facebook app more accessible to users who use their phones with one hand. The new bottom tab system will include a feed, notifications, messages, and settings, and will be located at the bottom of the screen. Users will need to tap the tab to see the content. A small icon on the tab will show users which tab they are in at any time. The update will also allow users to tap and hold a post to like, comment, or share it. The update will also include an improved notifications system that will include alerts when people are tagged in a post. The new update will be available for beta users soon in the Google Play Store
