Google Contacts has recently released an update that includes a new Highlights tab. This tab is designed to make it easier for users to quickly access important information about their contacts. The Highlights tab will show contact profile pictures, birthdays, anniversaries, and other important events. It also provides quick links to Google Calendar and Maps, allowing users to easily plan events or find directions to a contact’s location.
The Highlights tab can be accessed from the main Contacts page or from individual contact profiles. On the main page, the Highlights tab will show all of your contacts’ profile pictures, birthdays, and anniversaries. Clicking on a contact’s picture will open up their profile page, where you can view more detailed information about them. From here, you can also access the quick links to Google Calendar and Maps. The Calendar link allows you to quickly add an event related to a contact, while the Maps link will show you directions to a contact’s location.
The Highlights tab also makes it easier to stay in touch with your contacts. You can quickly add a contact’s birthday or anniversary to your calendar or call or message them directly from the Highlights tab. In addition, you can also share a contact’s profile with others.
