Nintendo announced on Twitter that they’ve added four classic games to their Switch Online subscription service: Quest for Camelot, Kirby’s Star Stacker, Joy Mech Fight, and Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day. These games, from GameBoy, SNES, and NES join a large existing library of classics that are available to play. Notably, Kirby's Star Stacker is a colorful, Tetris-inspired puzzle game, and will only be playable in Japanese.
The Game Boy game, Quest for Camelot, is an action RPG similar to A Link to the Past, originally released in 1998 and based on the Warner Bros animated film from the same year.
The NES library is expanding with the additions of Joy Mech Fight, a 1993 brawler, and Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day, a sports game with side-scrolling platform action.
To play these games, a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online and the Expansion Pack, priced at $49.99 / £34.99 / AU$59.95 for a yearly pass, is required. The subscription includes titles for Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance, and also provides access to popular titles like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, as well as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass.
