Spotify’s New Podcast Series Tell About Music, Cultural Trends, and Creators

In 2020, Spotify decided to adopt a new way of communicating to its audience and launched the first-ever podcast – Spotify: For the Record – that features interviews with the company executives, employees, and renowned field experts. Today, the world-famous digital music streaming service is ready to take the next step by introducing two more in-house shows called Mic Chic and Discover This.

Spotify: Discover This

Discover This will concentrate on music, various aspects of creating and sharing audio information, cultural facets, and popular trends dominating this business. Its content will be a fascinating mix of music and interviews with popular and emerging artists. The first episode of the new podcast show took place on October 14, 2021.

Spotify: Mic Chic

Mic Chic is the other new program by Spotify scheduled to air on October 19, 2021. The show will invite music creators and podcasters from across the world to tell their unique stories of struggle and success. Spotify is promoting the show as a tremendous opportunity for artists and podcasters to connect with their global audience at a more intimate level.

What else is coming?

The mid-fall of 2021 is an eventful time for Spotify as the third season of its front-runner podcast For the Record is returning on October 26. This behind-the-scenes show will maintain updating its listeners on the company’s news, product launches, and financial developments.

The reason to split the For the Record podcast into three separate shows is that this way, Spotify is trying to address the needs of distinct audiences with its tailor-made content that will span topics most current and important for each segment.
