Twitter Gives Creators Profit Tracking Tool

Twitter developers continue to expand the platform capabilities, providing brands and creators with more opportunities to earn money. Recently they’ve also offered a tool to help companies track their funding sources and optimize content for their audience.

The Creator Dashboard is a single hub where you can see your earnings from monetization features such as Super Follows and Ticketed Spaces. Here you can find a breakdown of each instrument and check your total revenues for the past months. Also, when your income reaches $50 (the minimum required to withdraw funds), you can choose the payout day. Keep in mind that it can take up to 90 days for Twitter to do it. Also, you should take into account that the amounts indicated are approximate, excluding subsequent fees.

The Dashboard also provides statistics on the actions of your subscribers within each tool. For example, in the Ticketed Spaces section, you can see who bought and how many tickets. And in Super Follows, you can track the arrival of new subscribers and control the renewal of paid subscriptions.

This control panel is available under the “Monetization” tab. Currently, only US creators with over 10000 total followers can use it, and only through the Twitter for iOS app. The new functionality will become available in other countries as soon as the beta testing stage is successfully completed. However, it is not yet clear when owners of Android devices will be able to use it.

The set of tools available on the Creator Dashboard is quite limited. The developers promised right after the launch that they would continue to work on features and improve the user experience. Do you monetize your content on Twitter? Do you feel the need for such a hub? If you were lucky enough to test a new feature, please share your thoughts!
