Since its release in 2017, the game has garnered acclaim for its intense, lifelike approach to military-style FPS combat. Set on the battlegrounds of Russia featuring two adversarial private military factions, the game challenges players to emerge victorious in raids while securing their escape.
Being in the early access phase, the game is no stranger to the occasional hiccup following new updates. Regrettably, the most recent update has been marred by stability concerns, with players reporting difficulties downloading the update or accessing the game post-installation. The game's dedicated website is also undergoing maintenance amid these disruptions, indicating widespread technical difficulties with the new patch.
The developers at Battlestate Games have taken notice of these issues and are diligently working towards a resolution. Once operational, update 0.14 promises to deliver significant improvements to the game, including an arsenal of new firearms, an overhaul of the recoil mechanics, and the addition of player maneuvering features like vaulting.
A standout component of the update is the debut of a new battleground named Ground Zero, which presents a unique environment exclusively accessible to players below level 20, offering them a reprieve from the more seasoned contenders. Additionally, the update sees the introduction of a formidable new adversary, Kollontay.
