Likely Absence of Downloadable Content for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Before its release, speculations were rife about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom potentially being the Game of the Year. Post-launch, the game experienced a surge of popularity with devotees spending numerous hours in Hyrule and constantly seeking additional content.

However, it appears that Nintendo is not planning any DLCs. In a recent Famitsu interview, producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi addressed the future of the game, confirming that no additional content is currently being developed.

Aonuma stated, "We have no plans at this time for additional content... I feel as though I've explored all I can with game development in this world." However, he did hint at a possible return to Hyrule, speculating that whether it's a sequel or an entirely new concept, it will present a unique gaming experience. He requested fans to look forward to this potential development.
